Only Humane

Martin is a rural mobile veterinarian.
Martin is good at what he does. He loves animals, enjoys his work and driving around in the country.

But today is not a good day for Martin.
He can't seem to catch a break, as one thing after another goes wrong.
This is a day he'd rather forget.

Only Humane was written and directed by Adam Harvey.
Using an all Waikato cast & crew, this project was undertaken to explore and showcase the skills and talents of the local filmmakers.
Key personnel included Joe Hitchcock as Director of Photography. Dan Inglis as Editor, and who also did the behind the scenes photography.
Paige Larianova was crucial in the role of Assistant Director. Chanelle Keoghan did our sound capture and sound editing.

The cast led by experienced actor Sasha Nixon, included an outstanding debut on film by Thomas Srhoj. Stunt Actor Ant Banks also played a key role.

With a small budget, the challenge of a car crash was the most difficult to overcome.
Unable to find a location the script called for with a road - hill - and ditch, the film was shot in three locations.
