Job Description

• HSD/GED
  6 months of acute hospital or healthcare experience
• 3 years of experience working as an admin assistant
• Intermediate knowledge of software systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with booking travel and accommodations for business

• Associates/Bachelors degree
• Experience with HealthStream

• Adds calendars appointments, schedules conference rooms and organizes travel arrangements for an individual, group or department.
• Provides general information to internal or external clients or customers, answers and directs phone calls, logs calls and routes inquiries to other departments in the organization as appropriate.
• Formats and types correspondence, documents, memos, reports, meeting minutes and/or presentations materials. Reviews and edits all written materials.
• Performs time and attendance tasks, coordinates activities, processes business expenses, and oversees special projects as given.
• Maintains an organized and efficient filing system.
• Replenishes and orders office supplies, may arrange for equipment maintenance. Assists in cost containment through appropriate ordering and conserving of supplies and equipment.
• Interacts professionally with all visitors, within the department/office, and with other departments.
• May act as or support the Staff Development Advisory Network (SDAN), Safety Representative and/or Kronos editor within the department and or unit.
• May assist with expense reports, monitoring budget, and/or tracking invoice payments.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.
