Job Overview This is a senior‑level position that requires a high level of expertise in tax preparation and planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax services to a diverse client base, including individuals, S corporations, corporations, and partnerships. Responsibilities Reviewing and preparing tax returns, including individual, S corporate, corporate, and partnership returns, in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Conducting tax research on complex issues and providing guidance to clients and colleagues. Assisting in tax planning and consulting for clients, including identifying tax savings opportunities and ensuring compliance with tax laws. Communicating and building relationships with clients to address their tax‑related concerns and provide exceptional customer service. Assisting with tax audits and representing clients before tax authorities, as needed. Staying up‑to‑date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff members and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA or EA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in using tax software such as Prosystems Fx or Axcess Tax. Experience with general ledger accounting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and asset management. Familiarity with debits, credits, and other financial concepts. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. Job Type: Full‑time.
