Positive Path Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote outpatient team in Seattle, Washington. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of each client.

  • Document session progress and treatment outcomes in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping.

  • Engage actively in weekly staff meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues on treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health services cater to a diverse client population, including college students and young adults facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. As a counselor, you will provide support and guidance to clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that resonates with their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
  • \n
  • Current independent licensure (LPC, LICSW, or LMFT) in the state of Washington is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

  • Ability to complete progress notes and documentation promptly and accurately after client sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Prior experience working in a counseling setting, particularly with young adults or the college-age demographic.

  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling best practices.

  • Experience in conducting group therapy sessions would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
