What We Do/Project
The Analyst will work closely with brand teams across Discovery, T-Nets, ADSM & CN, AEW, TRVL, APL, and SCI.
The Analyst will be responsible for leveraging a variety of research resources across media (linear and non-linear platforms) to provide data driven intelligence and consumer insights in support of content strategy, marketing initiatives, competitive analysis and more.
This position supports The Discovery, T-Nets, ADSM & CN, AEW, TRVL, APL, SCI Brand Insights team, and requires someone who is innovative and solution-oriented.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
• Assist in production of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs.
• Provide research support and recommendations, with the help of the team, for Senior Executives and other Warner Bros. Discovery business groups.
• Provide expertise on competitive trends and the changing television landscape with ad-hoc reports on landscape and competitive viewing.
• Communicate data and insights in meetings, strategy sessions, emails, and presentations.
• Develop creative approaches to uncover consumer insights and marketplace trends to inform company strategy.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) Npower experience.
a. 1+ years; Nielsen experience for media.
2) Television and Media experience.
a. 1+ years; Understanding of how television and audience engagement operates.
3) Ability to write and craft ratings translation.
a. 1+ years; Ability to communicate effectively with our internal stakeholders to convey findings.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) ComScore experience a plus
2) Community and panel management a plus and experience with Alida a plus.
Soft Skills:
1) Experience with survey design, programming, and analysis
2) Experience supporting Media and entertainment brands for use for Nielsen Media (Npower).
Technology Requirements:
1) Knowledge of Nielsen data and systems; Npower*, Star Media, Nielsen Content Link/ Lake5
2) Experience with Nielsen Media (TV/streaming metrics)
Education / Certifications
1) Minimum of a BS or BA degree required.
